The Screamery Hand Crafted Ice Cream ("Company," "we," "us") operates the Screamery Rewards loyalty program and application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We collect the following information when you participate in our rewards program: your phone number (used as your account identifier), a password (securely hashed, used for app login), your first and last name (if provided), transaction history at our locations (purchase amounts, dates, and store location), points earned and redeemed, and your marketing communication preferences.
We use your information to operate the rewards program (track points, process redemptions), send transactional SMS messages about your account (point updates, reward availability), send promotional messages if you have opted in, improve our services and customer experience, and prevent fraud or misuse of the rewards system.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the rewards program (such as our SMS messaging provider), but only as necessary to deliver the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Our App integrates with the Clover point-of-sale system used at our locations. When you provide your phone number at checkout, Clover associates your customer profile with your transaction. We receive order totals and customer identifiers from Clover to calculate and award points. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
By joining the rewards program, you consent to receive transactional messages about your point balance and available rewards. Promotional messages are only sent if you opt in through the marketing consent screen at checkout. You can opt out of all SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your activity.
We retain your rewards account information for as long as your account is active. Accounts with no activity for 12 months may be deactivated. You may delete your account directly from the app in your Profile settings, or by contacting us. Account deletion deactivates your account and removes your login credentials.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our rewards program is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and data, and opt out of promotional communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the information below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via SMS. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
